Marina Padovan has been teaching Biology at Paul Kane High School in St. Albert for the past 18 years. She has a BSc. in Biology with Specialization in Genetics (her first love) and an After Degree in Secondary Biology Education. Marina has a great sense of humor, and loves to use analogies to explain the most abstract concepts, from nervous impulses to quantum mechanics. She is passionate about the sciences and about teaching, and her enthusiasm quickly extends to her students.
When she is not teaching, Marina loves to paint and to spend time outdoors with her husband, her two kids and her dog Otis.
