Grant is an enthusiastic and energetic teacher with a true passion for science and an extensive knowledge of the Chemistry 30 diploma exam. He has been teaching Chemistry 20, Chemistry 30 and AP chemistry in his School District for eight years and has been an active contributor to such initiatives as Alberta Education's high school redesign and his District's chemistry KPI. In 2011, Grant was recognized with a nomination for the APEGA Teacher Award. Outside of the classroom, Grant is an avid musician, bowler and mountain climber, and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and 18 month old daughter.
